the covers of many of these short-listers seem to be going for the tattered fifties look.
peculiar. but as for judging the books by their cover, i am rooting for the inheritence of loss.
Well, if we are into that, and by that, I mean judging a book by its cover, then I would have to say either The Night Watch or In the Country of Men.
Inheritence of Loss. Night Watch looks like a romance novel to me.
